Honey, Have You Seen My Neckties?

I wanted to make a Victorian style quilt using neck ties from my collection. I felt a crazy quilt pattern with black sashing would best suit this project. I added tags from the ties to add more interest. On each block, a shank button was added. The buttons represent tie clips. Some of the buttons look like tie clips, but others were for fun (i.e.: coke bottle button, baseball button, etc.). This quilt won a first place ribbon at the recent Capital City Quilters' Quilt Show. I enjoyed creating this quilt and am very proud of it.
